Don't forget that topper of IIT JEE 2002 had to double drop as well to become a topper, which isn't an option today

Number of years and attempt in different exam of India
Neet - unlimited ( no age limit)
NDA - unlimited, but a candidates at most get 6 attempts ( 16.5 to 19.5 age)

CAT - unlimited attempts no age criteria

CDS - unlimeted attempts ( age 19.5 to 25 year)

Gate - unlimited attempts ( it is also an entrance for IITs )

UPSC-CSE - 6 attempts
Age 21-32

Why is this fucking rule in IIT-JEE and JEE mains

I used to think all AIR 1 to 10s of JEE and NEET started serious preparations from their 6th class or they must be God-gifted like solving all IIT Physics problems in 5th itself, but that myth is now broken 😅 Thank-you Ashish sir ❤

I do agree with you sir. But preparing from class 11th under the guidance of a institute or experienced faculties will exhibit good results with greater probability of getting selecting with a good rank. On the other hand many students don't have such great guidance and most of their time gets wasted in figuring out the right path to study which is not the case for guided students .I myself started preparation from 11th took a drop and then also got a rank of 19k in JEE ADV_21.

Sir, I have got 84%ile in JEE Mains 2021. I want to take a drop. Please guide me. My mistake in 2021 was lack of practise in physics. Should I do PYQs only and create concept checklist? What else should I do?
