Honkai Impact 3rd And Genshin Impact Collab Reaction

Honkai and Genshin Impact are collaborating in the near future. Fischl and Keqing will be playable in Honkai Impact 3rd 4.9. This Honaki x Genshin collab is something both Genshin and Honkai players have been talking about for a while.

Genshin is the bigger game in terms of number of playerbase. However, Honkai is the bigger game in lore given that Genshin is just part of Honkai’s bubble universe stuff.

EDIT: They’re both good in their own terms. I just prefer Honkai more.

They modified the genshin characters in honkai to match the game's play-style. Yes, they do look stronger due to the flashy attacks, but that's how they made it to fit, as the attack styles for the characters are unique in honkai.

The reason for Genshin to not having any collab with any game is bcuz they have not had the Multiverse travel system yet while It took Honkai over 2 years to have one. Ìf Genshin were to have any collab right now, it would affect the entire main storyline while Honkai is divided to Multiverse travel storyline and Main storyline, the collab is canon in Multiverse travel but not in Mainstory so basically Honkai can collab with anything they want, no risk
Bruh, if u know Honkai lore and overall Mihoyo collaboration style, u would understand that Mihoyo is not that of a literal IDIOT to collab Genshin with anything. It is bcuz Genshin is big that the collaboration needs more developement

i think this is their way to gave Honkai Impact a push for exposure to the Publics eye since Genshin Impact is a bit of a mainstream game and fully well known at this point

Both games are great. I don't know if you've tried A Post-Honkai Odyssey in the Open World Section of Honkai Impact. But, sometimes, the mechanics there are what I always wanted for Genshin. There's a couple things there that could have been polished and made into Genshin's mechanics.

Some people (myself included) may say Honkai is the better game once you really get into it, because Genshin can feel kinda underwhelming with so little permanent content after the story (which is GOOD, but not yet as exciting as Honkai's story in my opinion). But the truth is...Honkai didn't get to be THIS good from launch. Few knew about this game before Genshin. I got into it by pure chance just because I was looking for a different kind of anime mobile game that had 3D models and action combat style instead of the classic PNG turn-based games.

It took miHoYo YEARS of work to make Honkai into what it is today. They even had to rewrite the first 2 chapters. Even if Honkai's combat always felt better than how Genshin feels right now, we have to keep in mind that Honkai needs to be fast paced since most of the stages are really small and they are nothing but instances, while Genshin is miHoYo's first BIG game AND it is an Open World game. These are the kind of games that are either a hit or a miss IF they are a finished product.

Genshin is still a baby in terms of development and, considering Honkai's growth through the years, I have high hopes for its future. We can see miHoYo really cares about these games just by seeing how detailed their survey's are. They ask so many interesting questions that hint at what they might be planning to do, and I get the feeling every big event in Genshin is a little test they are doing for future permanent content that they can't just completely release unpolished. I feel Genshin is gonna follow in Honkai's footsteps in terms of both quality and content...and probably reach it's level and even surpass it faster than we expect. Let's just hope miHoYo keeps these games in the right direction

Ngl, this crossover is going to be sweet. A lot of Genshin players are saying "Why can't Fischl do that?" Different type of game, also, the Klee outfit is going to be for Theresa, specifically, her Celestial Hymn battlesuit

Genshin is bigger in openworld size, and maybe in hype. Yeah.
But Honkai is far far more bigger both in lore AND Genshin IS part of the Honkai lore. (Spoiler, but the last scene of Honkai chapter 17 is Otto watch many worlds in the Imaginery Tree, one of those worlds is a tipical Honkai event world, which is visited by the Hyperion which fly in the Sea of Quanta (And when chapter 17 were released the next update gave the mentioned event with Rita), the other world IS Genshin Impact world.
So in openworld size Genshin bigger, but the whole world of Genshin is just a small part of the "Honkaiverse".
I wouldn't be surprised if later in a 2nd "collab" Keqing would come too as a final playable character.
Also, the combat system of Honkai is different from Genshin and by this, Honkai chombat effects look far more epic, and stronger than Genshin ones. Like what is an ultimate in Genshin is just a charged attack in Honkai.
Also based on the picture at the end, Roza and Lily the Vodka girls are connected to the story, so A, Theresa and the vodka girls do something now in Honkai lore, it's connected to Genshin, OR the event paralel universe copy vodkagirls who just jump from one world to another do something crazy again. :D
Good chance that a vodka girl can arrive to Genshin in the future as playable character.
