Two years ago I traveled to Paris in early December. I loved it. The weather was cold but the city felt romantic and atmospheric. Christmas decorations were up and we visited holiday fairs. When we got cold, a stop at a bakery or cafe was perfect. Small to no crowds. I recommend it.

I’m so grateful that I visited Paris in May. The weather was beautiful, it wasn’t too crowded and I made the trip to Monet’s garden when it was in full flower.

We were in Paris this past late December/early January. We got so lucky with the weather (we’re from Chicago so may have a different standard 😂). Our Air France tickets were very affordable. Some attractions were busy but we were able to secure tickets at each place. Getting places by Uber was very quick, easy, and affordable. The metro was also easy. I was so shocked how late the sunrise was. With help from Les Frenchies we knew to avoid people with clipboards, bracelets, etc and to keep our belongings close and well secured. It took me 20 years to make it and I can’t wait to go back 😢 8 days wasn’t nearly enough to see everything we wanted!

We’ve visited Paris in all seasons except autumn. Winter is our favourite. Christmas markets are fun. Less crowded and the city is bathed in an atmospheric light that makes its views and street scapes hauntingly beautiful

I've found mid to late September is the perfect time to travel. Not only to Paris but London, Sydney, Barcelona wherever. Always perfect weather, less crowded.

I was in Paris the winter of 2019. Coming from Minnesota the 40 degrees Fahrenheit felt like a heatwave to me. I walked around with long sleeves but definitely no sweater or coat.

We visited Paris in late June 2023. The dahlias in the Tuileries Garden were in full bloom and it was amazing! Enjoyed a relaxing lunch there after visiting Le Louvre.

We're from Ohio and were amazed to see it was still light out at 10PM. We were not used to that!

In Paris now - a bit warm and pre-Olympic crazy - staying in Versailles now to get a break - very nice

We were there in March (last year) it was chilly and rainy, but we had a wonderful time regardless. Next time we’ll look at November, seems like a great month to visit.

If you're visiting in July-August and see a store or restaurant you're interested in that's open, go right then and enjoy! They don't tend to post signs that they will be out next week, or soon or the like, they post when they have left. A few times I thought oh I'll come back in a day or two and the place was closed for vacation. You do get to discover new places nearby, but if you have your heart set on something it may not be available later.

Merci Colleen & Antoine, your timing is perfect! We are visiting Paris & Normandy in mid-October & I was just beginning to plan my packing strategy, so this video is very helpful; the weather won’t be too much different than here at home in NYC.
Les Frenchies videos have become part of my Saturday morning breakfast in bed routine! I appreciate all of your helpful tips & can’t wait to get to Paris to put many of them to use.
Merci beaucoup!

I recommend late March, early April. The weather is mild, there are spring blooms, and brighter skies without the high season crowds. I've heard that April can mean rain but I've been lucky and only had sunny skies in fact April 2024, I experienced 2 days with unusually high temps in the 90s. The nights were cool and I did not miss AC.

August 15th has always been a favorite of mine, it always feels sureal to see Paris empty like that. And then for the american who likes wine skip the turkey at thanksgiving fly to paris and make a beeline for the salon des vignerons independants and get a bit pompette while discovering great wine from all over France.
