We visited in September ... the weather was terrific, tourist crowds seemed light and our flight and vrbo rental was reasonably priced for our 2 week stay. I honestly would visit London anytime .. we loved it! ♥

I went to London March 1988 on a high school trip, Sept 2015 with a friend and November 2017 solo, and I will be there in Sept of this year, again solo. Every single time was AMAZING, I can't wait to come this year!!

Interesting video. I think September is a good time to visit London, you are pretty certain to get decent weather and there is still a reasonable amount of daylight. If you like long light days June or July are for you when its light from just after 4 A.M. to nearly 10 P.M. Remember in mid winter it's not light until about 8 A.M. and is dark by 4 P.M. Jess gives very useful info for people visiting London for the first time.

I wouldn't`t advise visiting between Christmas day and New Year`s day as many places close at this time and public transport is much more limited. The run up to Christmas, early to mid December is a much better time.

When I returned to Liverpool England last year, I came in September. It was really an awesome time for me because of the warm and cool plus the rain and sun all in one day, and I enjoyed every second of it because the weather in this place reminds of where I live in Texas; therefore, it reminded me of home. I am thinking about coming in September of 2020 which means fall weather is starting to come in along with rain, so I am used to coming to England in this time of year. Thank you for this video and all your other videos which have helped me in planning this trip coming up next year.

My wife and I spent two weeks in London from 9/5 to 23/5. We did not opened our brolly! Nice weather! Temperature was between 10 an 18 degrees. And thanks for your videos. They were so helpful to plan our holidays.

Early September was a really great time for me to visit London (and England in general) back in 2017. The temperature was never too hot or too cold. Last Night of the Proms falls around this time so I highly recommend going to the Proms in the Park concert. The prices for most things including airfare seemed reasonable enough too.

Visited at the end of May and it was great weather! Not super warm, but didn’t always need a jacket, either. Also, had only slight sprinkles during the 3 days we were there. Stayed in a VRBO in SoHo and loved the area and did a ton of walking down to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square from our flat. 💞

Thanks Jess! Great video. For your first point, the most expensive times, you said "End of Summer". There are two different ends of Summer! ;)
1: Late August, just before kids go back to school. The end of summer vacation season.
2: Late September, the end of summer according to the calendar.
I assume you probably meant #1, the end of "tourist summer"..but can you elaborate? Thanks!

I visit the last two weeks every February. Just got back yesterday. Weather kinda sucks, but the grand kids are out of school for a week.

Hey Jess, what do you think about March in London, especially earlier in March? That’s my son’s spring break time and would be much easier to visit then, and I’m sure cheaper...but the weather would worry me.

Hi! Would you consider to dedicate an entire video to Indian restaurants and Indian cuisine in London? By the way, do you consider egg as a vegetarian or non- vegetarian food item?

I've been in late June/early July and been in late November/early December and actually just got back from another trip last week. Aside from the cold (I'm a Floridian and anything under 15c is freezing to me) I've had a blast every time. I haven't really noticed any discernible difference in pricing the times I've gone, either.

Hi Jess! your videos are so useful, I've been watching them a lot lately, but I do have a question about weather. I'm coming to London on August 1st and don't know what clothes to pack. Does it get chilly? Shorts or long sleeves? i really don't want to overpack since I plan to buy all the souvernirs lol :):)
