Cant ever go wrong with a Casio, over a hundred times better than fashion watches.

My grandfather used to use this watch. This was his everyday watch. Since I can remember him, I always saw him wearing this same one all those years. He passed away in 2015 and he wore this till the last day of his life. So this watch is kinda special for me

Got hired as a part-time firefighter in 2006, I am now career. Casio makes the only watch that has survived firefighting and working full-time as a paramedic before getting a career firefighter job. Hard to beat anything they make, I've destroyed 4 Garmin watches and the Gshocks are simply indestructible.

I love the way you gave this the same treatment as you'd give a watch 20x the price.

Speaking of the alarm, I have one of these, and spent a few weeks with the alarm going off at 5am every morning, with me being totally unable to locate where the watch actually was. By the time I could wake up and start to hunt it down by sound, it would turn off. Drove me nuts.

I adore this watch. I think every watch collection should have at least one Casio.

This is what I like with Teddy. He is not fazed with big brands. He is in to quality. He finds joy in the thought process. He dives in to details regardless of the price or the brand! The most credible watch vlogger out there. The Shakespeare of watch industry in our time.

I purchased my Casio A168 in June 2016 (for 22.50 euro) and only wore it occasionally as I always had on my F-91W. Today, in September 2021, having just watched this video, I decided to dig out the A168. It is still running and has gained about a minute in 5 years!

I bought my A168 in Japan about 7 years ago. And yes, it was about $25. I was surprised how cheap it was, and I'm glad I bought in Japan before returning home, because I noticed more and more Casio's like the A168 or the Databanks being sold in stores. Problem is, they retail for $100 here. I don't know why the price is 4 times the amount, but they're all quite expensive here in Australia. Considering how good the watches are though, I don't blame anyone for paying 4 times the amount I did. Almost had mine 10 years and only thing I've had to replace on it is the slide clasp, which was easily replaceable. I love it.

Got my sister this watch and she turned into a Casio digital watch collector! It has a cool factor that some watch brands just don't have. For a $25 watch, it just does so much for so little money. It's a watch that even the most snobby watch collector respects.

I've had exactly this one for I guess almost 10 years now, before my passion for watch collecting really grew. I still love it and wear it once in a while... the accuracy actually is mindblowing, it has rested in my cupboard for maybe 1 or 2 years and has only lost a few seconds.

I love wearing a casio now and again. They always put a smile on my face. You hit the nail on the head, you don't actually need any thing more.

This watch means alot to me. Once i was broke but i loved Casio watches. To my 25th birthday i bought this watch to myself and loved it. Unfortunately i had to send it back because i needed the money to buy groceries..
Last year i bought a Omega Seamaster to my 30th birthday and kept it. The Casio reminds me what times i have been through and the Omega reminds me to be thankful for what i have today.

I've owned many types of watches, from the Helson Shark Diver, to the Bulova Accutron II re-issue, to the Yema Flygraf. The Casio A-168W-1 is my favorite of all time, bar none.

I've convinced my wife to get me one of these as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. All of my 24 slots in my 2 watch boxes are full, and I'm on a 'one in, one out Plus this Casio!

These retro vintage watches were the reason I got into watches in the 1st place! A 7yo me in the 1980's thought these digital watches were the bees knees! I'm so glad Casio is still producing these retro watches. A massive trip down memory lane. I'm currently wearing my Casio Royal. A watch that brings me just as much, if not more joy than most of the more expensive automatics in my collection.

I might need another watch box just to fill up with Casios. They're just so good!

I purchased a Casio 100m resist digital watch back in 1984. In 1990, thereabouts, I gave it to my brother, who still wears it today. Apart from the battery changes over the years, it's still going. Yep. I highly recommend in buying one. Yes. I'm wearing right now a Casio G-Shock Tough Solar 5600-E.

my watch collection consist mostly of casio's, i find them more interesting and enjoyable to collect than mechanical watches and they don't cost a lot, unless you're looking for desirable vintage ones then the scalpers will rob you.

Casio is such a great brand with a cool history and a very wide selection. My G-Shock takes serious beatings at my work, and it's nice to know that I never have to worry about breaking it. Usually most of these retro styled classic digital Casios with basic specs are way more expensive where I live, than in the US and other places. This A168 thankfully holds about the same price though.

It's so cool these models are still made, and let's just hope they will continue to make them for a long time. I've been thinking about getting the stelthier version of this with a negative display, the A168WEM. It's around $46 though.

Casios are the watches I wear when I'm doing things that might destroy another watch. Casios, especially G-Shocks obviously, wear really well and never disappoint. I used to have the same opinion of Timex, but the last few Timexes I bought were a disappointment. Casio is my go-to durable brand now.
