I love the Cartier Panthere but unfortunately it doesn’t retain its value. Men’s watches tend to keep their value but women’s do not. Sad.

My great grandfather got the original Oyster. It travelled via sea to pakistan(then India ). It was inherited by his favorite grandson, my father. In the 70s, my father was traveling for work and it was stolen from his room. The thief probably didn’t even realize the worth and history behind the watch. Likely ended up in a second hand store /peddler in Pakistan. I

Love the placement of the date on the Patek Philippe Nautilus. The crown on the Cartier and Bulgari Serpenti are too intrusive, and will eventually, I believe, leave a mark where the crown will rub. But despite, the obvious, the Rolex will always have my heart.
