The Apple watch clip case is meant for people who cant wear watch to work like health care and food industry workers who still want to count steps. Some people flip it over and point sensors out and then clip under sports bra or strap to measure vitals if they don't like it on their wrists when working out. Some people cant wear anything on their wrists because of health conditions. Admitted this is not for everyone but there is a segment of the population of millions of apple watch owners that have gotten great value from this case.
