So I’ve actually been able to get a PlayStation 5, and honestly I’m loving the PS5 versions of some of my PS4 game library - Genshin Impact, Fortnite and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. They run almost without any lag or texture pop in. I also have a massive 200+ PS4 game collection to experiment with on the PS5 as well, largely thanks to a 4TB Storage Device I used with my original PS4, so in many ways I’ve basically just upgraded to a personalised Playstation PC with basically 4TB to use on whatever I feel like playing and or watching as far as media content is concerned. I’m currently using a 1080p TV without HDR functionality, so I can’t really experience my PS5 games to the greatest extent they can possibly go, but for the time being that’s okay. I’m just happy that I can finally experience a massive game library without having to worry about a loud fan to interfere with the immersion of the experience, or the lag that later games caused for my PS4.

I’ve had a series x since launch and just got a ps5 a couple days ago and can confirm, the duel sense is legit. I always thought people were over hyping it but it really just add a new sense of immersion.

Just finished playing my third playthru, and first on Grounded difficulty, of The Last of Us Part 2.

Was an absolutely brutal yet stunning experience with the 60fps patch finally implemented. TLoU2 really was insanely ahead of it's time visually, as it looks better than anything else even now imo. The 60fps mode is absolutely rock solid too.

I hopped on and tried TLOU2 at 60fps and it really adds so much more to the game. So smooth and responsive. Makes the experience of going through the journey pretty incredible. And I agree about the haptics. Resident Evil Village felt incredibly immersive with the resistance and rumble - not to mention the impeccable sound. Oh and I was blown away when I closed Apex Legends from a session, then loaded RE Village from a cold boot and was able to get into my saved game, gun in hand and moving around in less than 10 seconds. It really showed off that SSD speed. So, I've been enjoying my PS5 experience so far and can't wait for Ratchet & Clank, Battlefield 5 and Horizon Forbidden West!

I’ve had my ps5 for about 2 months now. It still works perfect! Every time I play a new pst game it feels like a brand new experience!

Great review. I'm currently playing TLOU2 its great 60fps first time played I waited for it to get patch didnt play it on ps4 so much smoother and control at the high fps when you switch between 30fps. I just hope horizon zero dawn forbidden west will be set 60fps from the get go .
