After 7 months of trying I was finally able to get one last Friday, been enjoying Ratchet and Clank, Demons' Souls, Miles Morales and even Astro this past weekend....so happy :)

PS5 is in fact the PS4 pro we needed. Fan noise reduction, loading time/graphics improvements. Superb!

I finally got my PS5 on June 3rd. My son works in a retail store and snagged the disc version for me when they received a batch of 4. I paid 484.00 USD, he used his employee discount for the purchase. Just in time for me to play Rift Apart

The only thing about my Ps5 I have a problem with is there isn't enough storage. Other than that it's been a great experience!!

A good review, I personally went with the Series X, I couldn't stand having a loud PlayStation again after the PS4 Pro! Plus I prefer Xbox games. And Game Pass rocks! I recently got the expandable storage card, just plugged it in and told the console to install stuff on it and that was it! So easy and simple. Quick Resume is also stunningly fast.

Got one last week. Curry’s VIP draw winner. Took 2.5 weeks after paying to get it. Got to about 50 in the queue on launch day before it sold out!

I got my PS5 about 2 months ago. Loving Demon's Souls, Rift Apart, Miles Morales, RE8, not to mention my PS4 games like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and The Last of Us 2...all these games run at 60fps on PS5 and it's phenomenal. I legitimately don't want to go back to 30fps now.
The controller is also way better than the dualshock 4. The new features are amazing and it feels even better to hold than the PS4 controller, which was my previous favorite controller

Excellent review! I was finally able to get a PS5 at the end of May. So far my system is quiet as a mouse. I like the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers when playing single player games however I could see myself turning those features off if I'm playing multiplayer games. I like that I can play my PS4 games on my PS5 because I don't have many PS5 games at the moment. I have Horizon Forbidden West (came bundled with the PS5), Uncharted Legacy of Thieves (was able to upgrade from the PS4 version of Uncharted for $10) and Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. Great review again! Just subscribed!

After 7 months i got mine second hand from a guy that was fair with price, £550 for the console, controller, charging dock, media remote and assassin creed Valhalla. Btw it was on Facebook market place. Only bad thing was it's box wasn't included but overall the seller was super nice and gave it for great price.

I have had mine since March. I absolutely am loving it. Haven't had any issues personally besides recently playing Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart caused my console to freeze and become unresponsive. Had to hard restart it. Havent played the game since launch. Only thing i want is the internal slot be unlocked. Mine has been super quiet. Other than that i have been enjoying it a lot. I hope those who havent gotten one get their hands on one. It is great. The controller is amazing. You can feel the rain drops hit you in Returnal. Haptic feedback on RE Village is great.

I bought my first PS5 on September 16, and my second on June 24. It was very difficult on that first day of unannounced preorders, but you do what you’ve gotta do. The second one was almost as hard, and actually took more attempts.

I was lucky enough to grab a PS5 on Pre Order via Amazon in India, I got it delivered on 4 Feb 2021

At the risk of someone else making the same comment before: you mention a 5db difference in noise levels between different types of fans and claim it to be 15% louder, I don't think this is correct, it's actually much MUCH louder. The way I understood sound works is decibels don't work on a linear but on a logarithmic scale and that a 3db difference actually means noise levels are doubled. (ie 83db is twice as loud as 80db, 86db is four times as loud as 80db). So a 5db difference is probably a lot closer to a ~250% increase.

I remember pre orders opening up for the PS5. Managed to get a Disc and Digital Edition. I asked my brother if he would like the digital one as I would prefer the disc one. He said no, so I cancelled the Digital pre order. He said he will "get one on the day of release as there will be plenty". He still hasn't managed to get one haha!

I bought one yesterday. In a shop called Interdiscount, at the Zurich Airport. I was genuinely surprised when I saw it is available. Of course now is sold out.

I heard that Sony are using the same marketing strategy for PS5 they used for their Vita memory cards.

I've finally got my hands on one recently for my birthday but will save it till then on 27th September. I personally got the digital version because I mainly play digital games with only about 6 PS4 games on disc
