Same Day Knee Surgery - PLC

Patients undergoing knee replacement surgery are recovering faster and going home sooner as a result of a new approach to this surgical procedure out of the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary. Earlier this year, Dr. Rajrishi Sharma became the first orthopedic surgeon in Western Canada to adopt a new protocol for knee replacement surgery. For patient Kenn Thompson, having this surgery helped him get his life back. “I don’t have the words to thank Dr. Sharma and his team for the wonderful job they did,” Thompson said.
