Anterior Neck Release Stretch (SCM & Suprahyoid Muscles) for Instant Neck Pain Relief - Dr Mandell

Most exercises most doctors and clinicians only address the posterior/back part of the neck and spine. That's a big problem! The body must always be in balance and we must release those tight and contracted muscles on the anterior/front side so the body can repair and heal correctly.

Wow Doc! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have been looking for some way to relieve the headaches I've had for over 35 years and I finally found your video! I have poked and prodded everywhere on my head and neck except for the front SCM muscles. I'm just surprised I didn't find that area on my own since I now realize it is very painful. The TMJ pain and pain in the back of my neck have vastly improved! The headaches were completely gone yesterday for the first time in many many years! They came back today but I now know how to help my self thanks to your extraordinary kindness! You are a true blessing to so many people! May Jehovah God bless you for giving so freely to help those suffering! He promises a paradise earth soon to come with no more pain, sickness or death (Rev 21:3, 4), but for now it's so nice to find a measure of relief! Take care and thanks again!

I'm so thankful and grateful to you Dr. Mandell. Legit cried after doing these exercises. The release I felt. My throat has felt strained since coming home from the hospital in December. Had gallbladder and kidney issues which are thankfully healing. However some of the meds given to me caused all sorts of other issues. Acid reflux. Which in turn gave me a tight neck and throat. I was scared to eat for a time. After watching a few of your videos throughout the weeks and then stumbling across this. Wow. I hope everyone benefits from all this information you've been sharing. Thank you.

A million thanks and blessings, Keep up the great information and concern for others!!!

What I have learned going through my recovery is that there just is not this information found so easily in the MD world, even if you show them current Medical Studies they will chose to ignore them, and write you Pain medication. It is so sad as I would not even call it a band aid, as they have not motivation to change. While those in your field need to produce results and so they often due(: especially when they are just great and keep learning....
Thank you

I really have n ended all the head! Neck and muscles stretches you advise due to nerve and muscle injury from cancer mastectomy of 8 years ago...it’s just this year begin g to soften but it’s regenerating has caused such pain and dizziness... all the exercises you’ve shown for these upper muscles are helping. Spots and areas have become soft, , softer than they have been for all those years. I’m greatly indebted to you, sir. Thank you for your Ernest free helps.

I have severe neck spasms since my 2nd brain surgery in March 2020. I just did these exercises in your video and I think I found the spot where my spasms are coming from. It's pain in my ear front and behind ear, down right side of my neck, clavicle area, shoulder blade, jaw, face all on the right side. I can't stand the feeling of digging in my neck but I did it and I think this is just exactly what I need. Wish I had someone to do it for me! I have weird sensory issues with my hands. Thank you for this video! ❤

Amazing! I feel soooo much better! I was so focused on the back of the neck and shoulders, I didn’t realize the front was a prob too. Finally I’ll be able to sleep w/o pain. Great demo!💗
