Palestine Hopes For 'End of Occupation' With UN Full Membership, Israel Fears 'Annihilation of Jews'

On April 8, the United Nations Security Council, led by Malta's Ambassador Vanessa Frazier, forwarded the Palestinian Authority's bid for full membership to the committee on new member admissions. This move follows the Palestinian Authority's formal request last week to reconsider its 2011 application. Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian envoy to the UN, expressed hope for the council to implement the two-state solution by admitting Palestine. The committee, comprising 15 members, will assess the application's compliance with U.N. requirements and potentially bring it to a formal vote in the Security Council. Approval necessitates at least nine favorable votes without veto from major powers. Meanwhile, Israel's Ambassador Gilad Erdan labeled a Palestinian state a threat to national security, condemning the move as a breach of UN principles and an impediment to peaceful negotiations.

On November 29, 1947 the United Nations did a bigger mistake by adopting a Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution) that would establishes a Jewish state inside the Palestine state. The time has come for UN to repent from that mistake!!!

If Palestine has a state now the war will have to end. The Palestinians can finally come home. Israel, US, UK and all the other complicit countries will have to pay for the reconstruction.

The Israeli ambassador says that a Palestinian state is not the way to find a peaceful solution but he fails to aknowledge Israel has been dispossessing Palestinians for 75 years with no sign of a solution and no interest in finding a solution.. It'd be interesting to hear his plan for a solution as he seems to have a better idea than a Palestinian state..

Why a group of foreign people who proclaim themselves as a a country inmediatly become a member but the real citizens can't, this sound like the same tactics applied to native Americans.

I told Israel that if they weren't carful the world would forget what happened on October 7th 2023...
Palestine: We want to join the UNSC!
UNSC: Of coarse and welcome.
