Haunting video shows cyanide victims before deadly dinner at top hotel

HAUNTING CCTV footage shows the last moments of five people's lives before they were allegedly poisoned with cyanide-spiked tea.

An American-Vietnamese woman is believed to have dosed the drinks of her five relatives in a luxury Thailand hotel before they were found dead by a maid.

Sherine Chong, 56, allegedly killed the two women and three men over a row about debts worth more than £200,000.

She then took her own life by also drinking the poisoned tea, Khaoso reports.

A hotel worker made the grim discovery on Tuesday in a room which had been locked from the inside.

Now CCTV footage shows some of the five victims arriving at the hotel, towing their suitcases as they made their way to the room.

What i don't get is if she owed them money why didn't she just kill herself? Why kill them when they weren't the ones who owed her money. She not only took their money but also their lives. That's just messed up.

Cyanide is very tough to procure. How did she do it? And surely, she carried it with her from overseas and not got it locally? So bizarre to have planned an overseas murder like this! 🤷‍♂

I think the bus service I was on in southern Thailand toward Bangkok in 2011 gave me a spiked drink with sleeping tablets for the trip so I could enjoy my 8-hour bus ride. I was just concerned about organ trafficking. My mouth went numb after 1 sip so I stopped drinking. But spiking appears to be a serious problem in Thailand.
