In this homage to Agatha Christie, set in England, an amateur detective finds herself caught up in a real-life whodunit! Miranda Green (Mischa Barton, “The O.C.”) is summoned to the remote mansion of billionaire Lewis Findley along with five mysterious strangers. What do they all have in common? What’s become of their absent host? And who just murdered one of the guests in cold blood? Now Miranda must hunt for hidden clues, interview witnesses, and find the killer — before she becomes the next victim!

Love that they’re making more murder mysteries in cinema.

This gives me Agatha Christie's "And then there were none" vibe. And I'm loving this! Looking forward to watching it.

Man Mischa has really grown as an actor. I’m so happy to see her looking so beautifully natural, comfortable, and confident.

This actually looks like a copy of an Agatha Christie mystery “And Then There Where None”. Very similar set up. Bunch of people on an island and then people start to get killed off.

People saying knives out copy must’ve not seen the last 80 years of Hollywood film and it’s history of murder mysteries

For those who didn’t know, Mischa Barton is British! Her parents are Irish & English, and she was born in London until she moved to NYC when she was 5. I love to see Marissa Cooper back again on screen!!

This “homage to Christie” looks like a direct adaptation of one of her books.

So it's Murder on the Orient Express, Knives Out and Knives Out: Glass Onion remixed into one.

Okay I went in with low expectations but it was honestly pretty good. It's a pretty simple and basic murder mystery, very Agatha Christie inspired clearly. Mischa absolutely killed it and her british accent is really good. Overall, its an easy watch.

"You're invited to an isolated island/chalet/castle in the desert with no way to leave, by a person you've never met, with a bunch of strangers for a weekend."

Me: "Nope! No thanks! Non, Nix, Nej, Nee, NOT HAPPENING!"

A movie that has a very good beginning, an extremely boring middle part and (once the investigation begins) a nice, well developed ending. Recommendable.

Just to let you all know that this film is actually a pretty good murder mystery that is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. And then it absolutely shits the bed at 1 hour and 16 minutes and completely undoes everything. 14 minutes before the end of the movie. It gets utterly ridiculous with future technology out of absolutely nowhere. I was gutted :(

British vibes mysteries that are written REALLY well will never go out of style. In fact, it's one of my fave genres ever.

Edit: Just saw the movie and... yikes. The ending was kinda cute but very cheesy. Not a movie but more made for tv. That's all you guys need to know before delving. It's definitely an easy watch if you just want to kick back and relax.
