I think people would have revised using past papers before but they can't now (because the topics are different) so it's doing harm in that sense too.

I also think the advanced information is an excuse to make exams far harder this year.

This is the only case they give up advanced information, what she says completely confuses everyone so you need a slight revise for other things that are involved with advanced information, if they going to get questions about everything the test should've been like 5 hours not 1 hour 45 minutes.

What about content that has been specifically said will not come ups such as plant tissues for aqa higher combined science

Bruh why couldn’t they just leave out some things in longer chapters or leave some chapters out all together? Instead of just cutting out things that we don’t need to revise in the subtopics 😒 In some instances even if they say we don’t need to know it we still have to revise it cause of it being related to other stuff that we do have to revise 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒

Also the past papers are now more of a waste of time because so many of those topics aren’t coming up

for me ive been putting off revision because im like oh i have advanced information i can just learn that and get a good grade and ive left it last minute

im revising everything (just not the spec points that they definitely said are being removed) bc i have such big trust issues with pearson hahha. i hate that we have advanced information

The advance info paper was introduced purely to make grade harder to achieve.The arguments now are ;we told you what to expect on you exam that’s why we lowering the grades.Tactical shambo

revise everything like even if the exam board told a specific point in specification thats not going to come up?
