--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anxiety can cause hundreds if not thousands of different scary stress symptoms. Many of us with anxiety are well aware of the common anxiety sensations but start to second guess any anxiety diagnosis if we notice something out of the ordinary.

Something that worried me a lot was, that most of my physical symptoms of anxiety seemed to only affect one side of my body. For the most part it was my left side. Unfortunately it was the side that worried me the most as it was a sign of so many of the illnesses we with anxiety fear. Heart attacks, strokes, brain tumors and so many more.

It all started with my very first panic attack. I can remember feeling a slight numbness in my left hand of course, went straight to Dr. Google and looked up what could cause such a sensation. What started out as a genuine research and reassurance attempt completely backfired as I was suddenly very very aware of so many illnesses I never really thougt about.

From that day on all I could think about were my symptoms and if the doctors might have missed something. This led to constant stress that fueled further anxiety symptoms. I was plagued by daily anxiety dizziness, extreme fatigue from constant stress and so many more weird and or terrifying symptoms.

In this video I will be sharing my experience with my mostly one sided anxiety symptoms and hopefully you will feel more at ease and can concentrate on the more important parts of anxiety recovery. Which I describe in more detail here in this playlist:

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and explaining things! You have help me understand what I’m feeling and it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one having odd symptoms and that there is no way I’m having multiple heart attacks in a single day or that my heart is failing me. Thank you!!

Can I just say thank you. I have been dealing with physical anxiety all the time. Every day I over think about breathing, when I get up or do anything my heart starts beating super fast, I always feel detached from my body, my left side is always numb and I have constant chest pains, I’m constantly worried about my heart and always worried about heart attack. I have been to cardiologists and doctors and all told me I’m ok. I have ptsd and extreme anxiety and I’m only 15. I never thought I could get to this point. This video helped me cope with the over thinking thoughts of heart problems and made me realize that I’m not alone

I just want to share my story with ptsd and anxiety here.

I had a minor accident which didn't affect me physically. I hurt my finger and i was shaking. That's all.

A few weeks later severe anxiety started kicking in. Fear of two wheelers and other stuff made it worse. I used to feel heart palpitations, difficulty breathing, lump in my throat, loss of appetite, always feeling on the edge, heaviness in my head, chest pains, left arm pains etc... One day, I was almost convinced that i was gonna die, but then it turned out to be a panic attack. I was relieved it was just a panic attack. It's been a year since it happened.During this period I read different books to overcome my anxiety and did yoga and pranayama.Everything seemed to help but didn't completely cure my anxiety.i have been anxious the whole year till now and even now.

And now suddenly the left side of my body feels tight and heavy and i feel a little dizzy. I searched it up on google and it said I was gonna die. I searched on YouTube and boom there's this video. It felt reassuring.

It's so tiring, whenever a new symptom comes up, it is kind of difficult to deal with the symptom and the panic that comes with it and in turn aggravates the anxiety and it becomes a vicious cycle. I hope all the anxiety warriors gather strength and get out of this vicious cycle.

Also I am gonna add a few things which helped me relieve my anxiety symptoms.

i) unclench your butt hole. We tend to tighten and squeeze our butt whole when we are severely anxious.

ii) loosen to shoulders

iii) Try to blink often. I noticed I didn't blink the normal amount of times a human blinks when he is not anxious

iv) loosen your jaw

v) try ancient yogic breathing/ dirga pranayama. This really helps

vi) make sure your tongue rests on your upper palate. This helps with nose breathing. We tend to breath alot with our mouths when we are anxious

vii) try reading books like DARE (helps with anxiety so well, it's a savior), BREATHE by James nestor,
The power of subconscious mind and other self help books.

While writing this comment, my left side of the body feels tight and heavy. I guess anxiety recovery is a long journey. There's light at the end of the tunnel. I pray and hope all anxiety warriors including me gather strength and get out of this

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this video, I’ve been struggling with almost all of the symptoms since the year started. It’s very tiring and I actually thought I was about to die. Just looked up this video while having an anxiety attack having the fear of dying of a stroke and it definitely helped me calm down. Thank you 🤍

Thank you so much for your story and I'm glad you pushed forward. I'm 2 months into my severe anxiety and relating to others like you helps me out tremendously. Even doctors will set you back and scare you. Trust in yourself that you can move past it and it will get better!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm literally crying this video was so reassuring. I know I have anxiety, snd I know I'm prone to panic attacks but despite this and despite doctors telling me I'm fine, I've still been terrified. this videos helped me remind myself that I'm fine, and that my pain is passing.

I've had anxiety, on and off, for a couple of decades, since I was 21. I mostly feel it on my left side. A few years ago I read that happiness is processed in the left brain and fear in the right. This makes sense, because the right brain controls the left side.

Had a panic attack 3 weeks ago that lasted 7 hours. I thought I was going to die for so long. The doctors luckily ran test that came out fine but for the past 3 weeks my left arm has felt weak and even uncomfortable sometimes and I’ll feel either a sharp or uncomfortable pain in my chest. I’ve been dealing with anxiety for 3-4 years and barley got diagnosed. Hope everyone else that’s dealing with this gets better soon🖤,

My recent life, this video... I was in the ER twice in one week. I wish I can tell people that time will be your friend, you will get better, but you have to respect time. And pray 🙏 to have the fear taken away.. (the most important is to have the fear taken away!)

Omg I've been feeling this recently especially with recent episodes of numbness and tingling on my left hand and foot. It's really annoying and because of the pandemic, I'm paranoid about the different symptoms and long-term side-effects that someone can have if they catch it (it's something that's always being talked about on the news). Thanks for making this
