Now that you've mastered pentatonic scale pattern #2, learn how to extend it with this video tutorial. Our expert guitar player shows you how.

Step 1:
The extension for pentatonic pattern 2 is: 1, 3, 1, 3, 1, 3, 3. Once you have that down, combine it with the rest of the pattern: 1, 3, 2, 4, 1, 4.
