Stop "spamming" Dumbbell Side Raises.

Instead, focus on performing Cable or Lean-In DB Side Raises in which you overload the "lengthened" position of your side deltoids. If you do this. you don't need a ton of Side Deltoid volume to see progress.

Now, I am not saying a Standing Dumbbell Side Raise is ineffective. I just don't recommend the strategy of doing a ton of Standing Dumbbell Side Raise sets if your goal is to build wider shoulders.

Recent studies suggest that training a muscle in a more lengthened position is better for muscle growth [1-3]. So using something like a Cable Side Raise or Leaning-In Side Raise will help enhance your shoulder gains without having to do a ton of volume.

Super informed PT. can you make a short explaining each shoulder head. Pointing to the each of them and explaining how much you should rotate your arm to particularly activate the lateral head. For better mind to muscle connection and helps with form.😅😅

actually, the best LEVERAGE of a muscle is what gonna get it to grow ! and, to your surprise, best leverage for deltoid is from 70-90 degrees abduction, therefore, db raises or band resistance bands gonna get the job done more efficiently

I just do chest support DB lateral raises. I don’t have time to be doing 1 arm at a time tbh.
