Not sure if it’s because I’m an adult (24) but I haven’t had any pain from hot food (today I‘ve had my braces on for 8 days) but I mean I haven’t had any teeth pain at all. The only pain I had was the first 3-4 days when the sharp ends of the wires were completely shredding apart my inner cheeks😂 but i put wax and it healed fast. So since day 4 I forget I have braces on lol. Hopefully this gives hope to someone who’s nervous to get braces. It’s not always painful!

I love eating hot food ever since I got braces. Before my teeth were always too sensitive for hot foods, but now I can’t feel it so I’m taking full advantage of it.

Do you mean like spicy food or do you mean like like temperature hot just wondering cause I’m getting braces in June and I love spicy food

Just make sure before getting braces, that you don’t have gum or periodontal disease. 😢 I didn’t know and after braces I started having triangle gaps and an abscess started forming on top of my front tooth. Went to the periodontal clinic and found out I had periodontal disease. Doctor also said he’s confused as to why my Thurman doctor process my braces as it made my teeth worse. Now I have bone loss.. idk what to do anymore. I was a smoker too so if you do any of these stuff, you gotta stop before it’s too late. I blame myself and now I’ve been stressing and crying so much for the past few weeks. Take care of yourself, everyone. 😢

I only stayed with clear soda. And if I ever had cola, I would use a straw
