As a brazilian, who has made the passionfruit mousse my whole life, here are two extra tips:
1. Beat this in the highest speed of your blender instead of your standing mixer. It creates even more air bubbles!
2. The second best fruit juice that goes well with this recipe is lemon/lime juice! You can decorate with lemon zest.

I make no-churn ice cream using sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream. The similarity to your passionfruit recipe might be why your family prefers the frozen version. You essentially made passionfruit ice cream!

Your pot roast method is really close to my mother’s, and the pot roast she makes is my number one favorite dish in the world. I really ought to try and make one.

I will definitely make the roast. I gave up making roast years ago as I got tired of the dump your roast- add cans of soup-and voila. Your version looks much tastier and healthier. Yum 😋.

Passion fruit mousse is a traditional desert here in Brazil, but we usually use the other kind of passion fruit (the yellow one) because it has a strong taste. A little bit of gelatin helps getting to the best texture. I like to top it with chocolate sprinkles!

I am from Paraguay and love passion fruit mousse. I grow passion fruit in my desert garden in Las Vegas. But when we don't get a great abundant harvest, I get the frozen passion fruit pulp/juice (goya brand) from the latin market. I first whip the cream until it has whipped cream consistency, and then add the condensed milk, and the passion fruit juice. It sets nicely when you refrigerate it overnight 👌 So delicate and delicious!!

Hi Jennifer, is so nice to see such a traditional recipe from Brazil on your channel.
I am a Brazilian who has lived in Europe for many years and when I want to make "mousse de Maracujá" I always use frozen pulps. The texture is amazing and 4 hours in the refrigerator is enough.

Roasts are my favorite to make😋 I usually put one over Saturday night with 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp seasoned salt, some dales seasoning and cover it in onion flakes and add water half way up and leave it on low till Sunday lunch and it’s delicious😋

I make something almost identical. I substitute red wine for the water. Adds a beautiful depth of flavor.
