You don’t seem to go into specifics about why it isn’t profitable or show facts.

I feel like you are making an honest effort to help people with this video. I don’t completely agree with you on substance but that is not negative at all. I appreciate your efforts certainly. In my opinion as a rideshare driver in Seattle for over seven years it is completely situational dependent for renting to pencil out or not pencil out. In any event overall I think you are correct in saying perhaps a better market could lead to better results. Thank you for the effort.

I work at avis something uber won't tell you is avis doesn't own these cars. Uber buys our old rental cars high mileage etc and pays us to rent them to uber drivers.

I live in New York City and here renting a TLC vehicle from Uber it’s not worth it because you can’t cash out plus if you don’t pay weekly rental they shut off the rental car from there office, it’s not worth it the rental here is $460 weekly it does not include tolls, gas ect. Inflation is high gas still high this is crazy.

I’m going to rent a car soon, I don’t want too but I have too because I really need to make money to feed my family, I can’t afford buying a car right now, the offer is £245 a week, include the insurance n wear and tear I think it’s not too bad. But only until I make a little bit of a money so I can get my own car.

How can I rent affordable vehicles for do both Uber & Lyft at a same time with same vehicle?

It's only a last ditch effort option if your credit is not good enough to get your own car

Ull waste like 5, 000 to $6, 000 a year for rental more than maintenance in ur car

I was thinking about trying this out but, it's to pricey. $260 to rent & $180 for their insurance.. I only wanted to do this because I have no car or, my own insurance. My market is not that great to cover all these fees.

No it costs so much more, you are better off driving your own car.

I used the Lyft rental through whatever their partner was last year around this time and was only bringing in less than $300 weekly after accounting for gas and rental, working about 40 hours. Not worth it, they’re trying to profit off of desperate people who are not in a position to drive their own car

For me, it doesn’t worth, too! I was in Hertz yesterday. $365/week = $1460/month. You will never spend that amount in a car installment + insurance + maintenance + depreciation. Think about that. 👊🏾

If you rent a car from either Lyft or Uber, most of your earnings will go to paying your rental which I find ridiculous

Ya you gave no legit information about why we shouldn’t do it you basically just said “ don’t do it, it’s not profitable” but why? How? Where do you live? I’m sure that’s a big factor I live in LA Lyft and Uber are very busy in this area. I’m sure I wouldn’t have a issue making 200$ a week payments. I think this is just your personal opinion, and you didn’t go into much detail in a 3min video well, 2min minus the advertising you did in the beginning

if u do the math its much closer than this dude implies. I figure u spend, long term, about $100.00 a week more. That $100 gets u #1 a car #2 elimination of mileage and maintenance worry--so one is more willing to drive miles to trips resulting in more earnings, and #3 better driving enjoyment if u have the right car--since one is driving 10 hrs a day thus is or should be bigger than one might think. I put Michelin Pilots on my rental Altima (from Avis) at my own expense, and now every minute out there is a pleasure to drive.

ok he dont tell you about it all but here goes i was turned down getting my car last fri because credit rating was too low ...

heres the weekly cost uber charges you $278 a week = $1112 per month gas powered midsize chevy mailbu has a 15 gal tank lowest price i get for gas is $3.20 per gal $45 to fill up and i know that will get me through 2 days so we figure 3 fill up per week $135 per week thats driving 5 days

$135 + $278 = $413 per week $1652 month i could do food delivery erly start 11 am until 7 easily make $100 in 3 days then flip over to uber after hour break do from 8 pm untill 3 am and i know i get at laest 15 rides or more in that time earn minmum $350 so at $450 per dy just 4 days week = $1800 a week - my cost gas and rental fees $413 $1387 profit weekly = $72124.00 per year you now pay taxes nd i dunno how much

because you write off all expenses milege maintanence even minor stuff wiper bldes bulbs car amts car wshes cleaning sprays etc..

I don’t think any body wants to rent but if we can’t afford a car for the time being and you really want to drive for living because you really really struggling with the money I think renting is a decent option ONLY for the time being.

So in other words, there's absolutely no point in doing this.
