It’s never “worth it” financially, but we’re still gonna send it

Of course, as parts wear out replace with performance parts. That is what did with my roadmaster.

is it worth it to modify any car?

No.
We all do it, but we should accept we're spending money to devalue the car to 90% of people.

Or the G35 adds that say it’s clean title with a missing rear bumper, a crashed front bumper and “190k miles on body, 80k on the new engine, old one blew up” and then go on to say “7k, price is firm, I know what I got bro” 😂😂😂

I had a 350k km modified turbo Outback and I have no regrets at all. It was cheap, not in perfect condition but thats good because it means I was not afraid to drive it like i would in a mint 10k km car. As long as you check the car properly on a lift and doing engine tests before buying it, and knowing what you're getting into, Id say its worth it.

Back in my early 20’s, broke AF i bought a 90 crx si with 350K on the odo with a clean body, for a grand. Good condition unmolested ones were around $5-6K with gas prices at $3.80+. Roughly $4500 and a year later i had a completely new car from top to bottom minus quarter panels and doors. B20V mild build in the bay, leather interior, all the goodies. I say depending on how much you love the car, and whether or not you are going to eventually sell it, high mileage is a good way to get a car that is otherwise out of your price range. Just my .02

I have a 2002 Civic SI with almost 240, 000 miles on it. We use it for road trips up and down the East Coast, to pick up parts, and I drive it everyday to and from the Honda dealership I work at. I see people at my dealership that have even more miles than that that keep their cars maintained for Uber. High mileage isn't so scary when you take care of your stuff

I have a 2002 Mazda Protege with close to 240k on the clock and it's still ticking after I modified it. Run and drives great. I like working on cars and this one is very easy to work on and has been extremely reliable & fun. Not the fastest thing in the world but throw it around curvy roads and you'll have a blast.

Wheels, Tire, Suspension, Intake, Headers, & Exhaust. Interior swap.

Had an Audi B5 S4 Stage 3, modified to 460 HP. Drove it to 200k+ miles. Something that was really missing in this video is to *make sure the chassis can handle the mods you intend to implement*. Particularly anything known to have rust issues.

I bought my car with 189k miles on it (still original timing belt 😬 with I plan on fixing soon) but I have been replacing parts on my car using higher performance parts. I would highly recommend doing it that way. Besides that I would recommend to not do anything crazy to a high mileage engine simply because it can give you a huge headache!

Had a 300zx with 185k when I bought it. Like Alex said MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS the good thing is I'd been a tech for 5 years at that point so I knew what I was jumping into and I also had a plan before I bought it so I went into it expecting to replace all the under car stuff and planned to pull the engine as soon as I got it home. Spent a year working on it weekends, put 30k miles on it over 4 years with no major complaints
