I’ve owned my Rally right at one year as well, amazing bike with a few quirks like you mentioned and I love every minute I’m riding it. I added the S&S Engine Control Manager to mine. Gives you access to sport mode (beast mode). I also added gel to the seat and it made a world of difference (230lb rider), can easily ride 8 hours without pain now. It is possible to get 40-50mpg but it’s not fun. I’ve made several trips through Arkansas with the stock tires and most recently rode the dragon with them, no isuues with corners, no slippage even on wet pavement. Llodyz tune is definitely on my list as the surging while using cruise control is quite annoying.
