Top 10 Things I HATE in Forza Horizon 5!

These are the 10 things I hate the most in Forza Horizon 5 game. in FH5 I usually drift with a steering wheel and couple of things annoy me. Keep in mind I do Love Forza Horizon 5 and will continue to play the game. Starting with the headlights, I've always wanted to know how to permanently toggle the headlights ON for example. Turns out you can't do that in Forza. Some of these features will hopefully be implemented into the game. Let me know what you would like to see changed and fixed in Forza Horizon 5.

Honestly, I absolutely love the amount of smoke. It adds a lot to the game, especially as a drifter. That's one thing that always bothered me about Horizon 4, the tiny amount of smoke. It looked so stupid

Actually I want more smoke and dirt particles….Especially when you’re rally racing on dirt roads . I know it would be hard to see but I think that would make a little more realistic

In my opinion, the smoke is way too thin still.

One thing I hate is the blinding effect when going into and coming out of tunnels. Sure, it's supposed to simulate camera overexposure, but they could tone down the effect a bit so it doesn't turn into a pileup at the end of half of the tunnels in online racing.

The drift zones scoring system is different than the one before december 3rd of 2021.

If your friend has done an ok score previous to the 3rd December 2021, their score is very likely, UNBEATABLE.

I'd love to see the ability to host a private game where you can change all the settings including time, weather, traffic etc. and invite people to your world if you want

the biggest issue in my opinion is the force feedback. it's just...weird, because if you do small turns you have zero force feedback and if you turn a bit too much the force feedback randomly kicks in. so eventhough i quite like fh5 i gotta stick to beamng and assetto.

1:50 Private servers needs a comeback.
8:20 Horizon 4 had 2 drift stories (One in base game and one in fortune island) and they were my absolute favorite ones. That story is the reason I like to drift because that is where I learned. Before that I could not care less about drifting. They need to add a drift story mode again.

Players in FH4: This game needs better smoke effects. The more dense, the better.

Jokes aside, great video. I personally play FH5 for the exploration and photography and FH5 absolutely nails that. Still my favorite series of all time, and FH5 is my favorite now.

For the topic 9, if you lower the graphic options of the particles, the density of the smoke will lower too

I wish they could move the rims and aeros to appearance part, or somehow separate them. So I don't need to sacrifice the appearance for performance. The hypercars have nasty wings but I have to replace them with weird looking FH wings to get more down force. That's pain.

I think my biggest pet peeve is always, and I mean ALWAYS, facing the opposite way I want to drive when I spawn off a fast travel. The only directional spawn is the highway, or near a dead-end.

You can select time & season in races by creating a custom race but for in free roam.
Regarding RWD drift: They should simply have more filters in the high scores.. I would like to see car classes, brand/model, wheel types and drive train (for all high scores)

The thing that annoys me is when you are drifting in interior there is no tyre smoke in you mirrors.

I totally agree with the list, some things were taken from 4 and others I don't, understand why, it was weird but right...

I'd love shifting animations, like in Horizon 4 where the paddles move when shifting, gearsticks that stay in the correct gear position and also car interior setup where we can fiddle around with the dashboard, set speedometer display like changing KMH to MPH and activating satnav

The lack of drag lights r very frustrating, I need them back!

1. Even on stock cars, the exhaust shoots a good 1-foot flame
2. Turbo sounds are obnoxious... Even if you barely blip the throttle, the blowoff sounds like it was at max boost
3. There's no ability to disable traffic
4. There should be more sorting options for cars (ie. Drivetrain, Displacement, Cylinder Count, Forced Induction Types)
