As Hurricane IAN barreled its way across the ocean towards Florida, we made our way across the country to Florida to put ourselves inside of Hurricane IAN as it made landfall in Florida! We usually Chase Tornadoes but today we Chase this Hurricane! Hurricane IAN made landfall as a CAT 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 155mph making it one of the most powerful Hurricanes to ever hit Southwest Florida. This hurricane is now the costliest Hurricane in almost 90 years. Mother nature is nothing to mess with. So if you ever find yourself in the path of a Hurricane, Tornado or any other force of nature, find safety and do not get out in it unless accompanied by a professional.

During this Hurricane Chase, we ended up seeing a Tornado form right beside us while in the street. So during this Hurricane chase, we not only took you to the Hurricane but we also took you to the Tornado!

I know I’m late, but I was in fl during this. For sure a tornado hit my house, probably a EF1, and there was no damage, I was out in the mini tornado for at least two minutes before I was like “ok this is not normal.” But I’m only 11 rn and I really am inspired to become a storm chaser/ meteorologist in my future! Risking your lives for content is just awesome. I’m honestly glad that you all where safe, because I’m sure I wouldn’t watch any other storm chasers if y’all lost your lives of if you all stopped uploading. I’m so excited to be a storm chaser in my future. I could feel your fear and happiness at the same time, and that is just amazing.
Thank you for always being brave and risking your lives for a ton!

You really went and said “1 hour video.” And gave it to us. I can already tell this is gonna be some good footage of how big this hurricane was by what happened in the previous hurricane video as well. But this has extra footage and I’m quite excited to watch. Thank you guys for going out and doing this for us, just be careful!!

I went thru hurricane Ian and I’ve been thru a few hurricanes but this was the scariest one as trees fell on our roof and leaks formed everywhere, even at one point we were on the patio and a tree fell thru the pool screen almost crushing us

Not only did they give us an hour of hurricane chasing, but they also held in their bathroom needs for 20 hours. You have my respect

I see, thanks for sharing! Florida is famously known for being a hurricane-prone state. This is because Florida is situated in an area where warm waters create the perfect conditions for hurricanes to form. Additionally, Florida is surrounded by warm water on three sides, which allows the storms to maintain or even strengthen their intensity as they make landfall. However, it's important to note that hurricanes are natural phenomena that can happen anywhere near ocean waters.

I rode this storm out in Cape Coral. 9 days of no power and weeks of cleanup. Been there for every hurricane since I was a kid in the early 90s. Can confirm the sunrises and sunsets are epic after they pass. Never once had fun through them. It was nice seeing such a different perspective of Ian. It was one of the longest, most stressful days of my life.

What’s crazy is that at 24:41, when the lightning struck, Ian’s wave of wind and rain began. It was like the bolt was a warning for impact.

I literally loved the fact that the 1 HOUR video was just you 24/7 straight in a hurricane and your mates having fun outside with the America flag on your back. TAKE US TO THE CANO!! 🌪🌀

As a Native South West Floridian, this is the BEST Ian vlog so far!!! And, I don’t know how this isn’t the most popular video on your channel😂 Y’all are MORE than welcome to join us next hurricane season!!! I’ve got family all in South West FL, (Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, North Port). It has always been my dream to go storm chasing, and of course when the hurricane of the century shows up at my doorstep pretty much I’m sick💀 my cousin who lives in North Port watched this video and LOVES it!!! She definitely wishes y’all came there because their house went more than a foot underwater, and they’re whole neighborhood turned into a River for over a week😂 let us know next time y’all wanna visit Florida we gotchu!!! My uncle is also a Captain and has a boat in Bradenton!!!
