I think the people who disliked this video just wanted you to tell them 1 specific brand of light to use even though the information you gave is extremely good advice. Can't please everyone I suppose. Great video, Ryan!

I bought a used setup from a family member and they were using 2 blue sols. They had bleached corals and little growth in a frag tank with the lights set at 100 percent. I have a 24 inch deep tank with the lights running at 90% white, 60% blue and 25% royal. So the less percentage and deeper tank helped the same corals grow amazing.

We really like this video and how you laid it out. We have had experience with numerous M. Halides, LEDS and T5 HO. I find the M Haildes to be to hot and costly on electric, the T5's are great but the bulbs need yearly changing to keep par up and that is pain and another cost too, so LEDs are the way we have gone and the choices are hard for people due to the many types available. A video like this helps people to figure out which works best for them by getting them think. I appreciate that.

Where did you get the hanging brackets for the tank at 2:56?

Great video as always! Oldie, but goodie. Yes, stop worrying about PAR! I have never had an LED that I didn't have to turn down to at least 50%.

Do you have the information/stats on the popular LEDs that you listed here? I'm especially interested to see the life stats on the AI Hydra.

I just bought a Maxspect Glaive G4- M40 and as I only want Zoa's, mushrooms and such I am hoping that it will give me enough PAR on my 20 Gallon nano tank...what is your opinion? Will it indeed be enough?

Im having trouble deciding how high i need my Hydras over my tank. I have a 45gl shallow tank. It is only 13 in tall and the lights are on an AI rack bit they are only 4 inches above the water. I plan on having a softie/lps tank. How high would you hang them or what intensity for the current height

Would you recomment PAR 38 Cree bulbs on a 150 Gallon which is 70" x 8" x 27". I love the shimmering effect the Par 38 Cree bulbs presents. I know they are usually recommended on small systems i.e. Nano Tanks but if i put more Bulbs would i get the equivalent output of that of a good LED fixture e.g. Radions ?

I know this post is kinda old but i could use some advice on selection. Im setting up a 20L to move my 8 reef to. I really like the sleek feature of the AI's but im kinda stumped if one centered would be enough for sps.

Besides the benefit of lower long term cost, what are any other benefits to switching to LED lights? I have 2 400 W MH and 2 96 W PC on a 120 gal square tank.

I purchased a nuvo 16 gal and wanted to know if you guys can help me out I want an led system that would be perfect for all corals but would like a fixture that mounts on the tank I don't want to hang it any suggestion greatly appreciated I was leaning towards a razor what are your thoughts thank you.

Can you use an LED lighting system with just a glass flip top lid for the aquarium? I'm concerned it would create to much shadows for the tank. Any product suggestions for someone with a hang on skimmer and heater and doesn't want an open top tank?
