HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE

Choose the right size in your football boots! Do you have wide feet or just in general find it hard to find the right size in your new football boots? Today, JayMike will help you out in finding the right and proper size so you can know which length to get and also which width to get if you have wide feet. We all know it, and we all hate it - getting the wrong size when we buy a new pair of football boots. Getting the right size is imperative to getting the best playing experience and getting the most out of your boots. So how do you do it? Today, JayMike talks you through how to get the right size and the best fit in your Nike, adidas and PUMA football boots. What you want to do is to measure your foot length and width to get to know your true size and which fit to look for in your new football boots - if you know how long your foot is but have a very wide foot, you won't be able to fit into slimmer football boots such as the Nike Mercurial Vapor 11, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 5 or the PUMA evoSPEED SL. Some people would then choose to go up half a size which you shouldn't as your boot should sit close to the foot in the length. Instead, choose a football boot that is naturally a wide football boot such as the PUMA evoPOWER Vigor, the PUMA evoTOUCH Pro, the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3, the Nike Magista Obra 2, the Nike Magista Opus 2, the Mizuno Morelia 2, the adidas Copa Mundial, the adidas X16+ Purechaos and the adidas ACE17+ Purecontrol.

I live on the US west coast and access to Mizunos are next to impossible for me but just yesterday I pulled the trigger and ordered some Morelia Pro II's from the Unisport Store, my first time doing so actually. It took me about 2 hours staring at size conversion charts online and deciding what size to get as the Morelias are traditionally-styled boots which may require me going down half a size for the best fit after break-in. I ended up measuring my foot like what Jay did here and now i'm hoping for the best. Returning will not be an option for me as the trip from Denmark to California one-way is already dreadfully long of a wait in itself.

when I was small my dad used to get boots 2 sizes up for me and he said that my feet will grow. And to cover the 2 sizes I had to put two insoles in.

I've had 3 pairs of boots this season, all thanks to sizing. Ordered some hypervenom 3s in 9.5us showed up in 9.5UK, so i sold those and got superfly 5s which gave me about 5 blisters per foot per game, so i sold those and have finally found happiness in evoPOWER vigors. :)

I bought hypervenonma year ago and when I came home, I thoguht that they were big (EU46) and went half a size. My feet are pretty much wide, pretty much... It hurt a lot and I could only wear them in 10 or 15 training sessions then I put them back in their box. They are still looking new over a year :D

10.5 is my shoes size, but which the tiempo legacy ic is 11, i have to ask my friend to break in my shoe for 2 month because i bought size 10.5 when nike sale season, and when i take my tiempo back, not only it's 90% fit me but also 90% broken

I bought the maestri iii in my usual size 42 and didn't know they run half a size small. Well, i figured it out the hard way, when my nails got black after a few sessions, because I forced my feet into the boots not being honest to myself.
A year later I gave them another chance, after I did the hot water trick and switched the insole with a thinner one.
And what a surprise: black nails again. Silly me...
