SpaceX’s Starship Booster 12 ready for a 33-engine screaming static fire. But when will it happen? Starship 31 gets its engines. Is it ready for flight 6? Is space exploration more important than Earth's environment? Or can we have both? And Europe finally launched their new Ariane 6 rocket! How did it go?

What are your thoughts on the matter? Can Spaceflight help Earth, or do you think that it’s harmful?

Hope you feel better soon. Sounds like a mighty cold. Love from New Zealand 🇳🇿

My 2ȼ. Here in Texas we have these things called Hurricanes which pack more energy than a Starship rocket ever dreamed of. If you live anywhere near the coast, you can expect to see one about once every five years. In fact, I had one come through my back yard last Monday. It uprooted two large trees and left a gaping hole in my fence. Over the last millennium, Boca Chica has seen hundreds of these and the wildlife still flourishes.

Folks were concerned with falcons, birds, etc. being hit by the giant wind turbines. They still put hundreds of them up, and the birds soon adapted. Some even nesting on them.

We all realize how historic what SpaceX is doing, but do many of us consider how it's one of the most covered set of historic events ever? Some day long from today, people will be watching these videos, trying to imagine what it was like to live through this once in our civilization's lifetime event.

Imagine similar videos covering the voyages of Columbus.

I think the 2nd tower is identical to #1 height, because the launch mount will be lower, above a subterranean flame trench.

The wildlife issue is another reason as you mentioned, for a flame trench. If it was built with a curve that redirected the blast somewhat upward over the land and ocean might that not be even more effective?

Felix didn’t read spaceX twitter this morning, that survey was recanted by the publisher a few months after they posted the results. No impact has been proven across the duration of Starbase

SpaceX pace is astronishing and these videos underlines that progress this incredible company has made in the last years.

Felix is turning into the mad rocket scientist he imagined he would turn to as an adult when he was a kid.

Why don’t they put a 12 foot or so tall wall around the outer perimeter of the launch site? Make a hard separation between the launch pad and the local environment. It’s beyond ridiculous for spaceX to get approval to build a rocket factory and launch complex only to be slowed down or even stopped bc omfg surprise it affects the local wildlife.

Sorry but the environmental blockage possibility officially ended when they got approval to build on day 1. The only discussions now should be about mitigation and isolation of the facilities from the local environment.

When you "look into your channel metrics", do you see me going "oh god, not this again", and nopeing out of the videos?

Space exploration and respect for the environment can go together.

I think Elon is going to catch the Super Heavy because he might redesign tower 1 to more like tower 2 after is tested. With a flame trench and all. He needs to make the pad more and more reuseable. Redesigning the pad will also allow tower 1 to use the next versions, the taller versions of Starship.

Luv the channel, and LUV your enthusiasm in your videos, makes me want a launch a day, so can't wait for that day to arrive! LOL Keep up the great work and glad I am a member of this channel!!! BTW, from south Texas but now living in the Philippines. Got to see 2 lauches before I moved. Definitely the best channel for SpaceX. TY for all you do!

Ariane6 flight was arguably a partial failure, not a simple hick up. If they were launching Kuiper satellites (their primary commercial customer) then the failure of the APU to relight the engine would mean a complete mission failure.
