How to Replace the alternator Ford Edge 2007 - 2014

Do you need to Replace the alternator on your Ford Edge (2007 - 2014) but don't know where to start? This video tutorial shows you step-by-step how to do it!

a 2010 ford edge has a 3.5L v6 engine only in them. This video in very inaccurate as it shows a 4 cylinder in the video.

One of the first things they remove is a "charge pipe" I think this is for the turbo 4, NOT the V6 Ford Edges.

Not the same as my 2011 Ford Edge, as a matter of the alternator is on the passenger side of the car, at the very bottom. A lot more need to be loosened and removed even the radiator fan.

After connecting the cable to the stud on the new alternator, remember to plug-in the electrical connector to the new alternator prior to continuing assembly.

Thanks God for this video! At keast for me this was perfect since I own a 2012 Ford Edge Ecoboost (4 cyl.). Is a lot simpler than the 6 cyl. Then again other videos don’t state that their Edge is a 6 cylinder. So I was very confused looking at their videos before I found this because the engine didn’t look exactly like mine.

For 2014 Ford edge I think you have to take the AC first before the alternator and it’s going to come out from the bottom.

This may be right for a 4 cylinder, but not for a 2012 v6, on other side of motor

The alternator on the 2007 edge is on the passenger side, not the driver side. The beginning clip shows him removing the wheel on the driver side but the next frames are him working on the passenger side. You can see if from the caliper position. The engine bay does not look like a 2007 ford edge. I wouldn't follow this video.

Not correct for a 2008 ford. That must be a 2014 as the bolts on the earlier models is different.

This does not work for 2007-2011 ford edge. They all have 3.5l V6

I'm not really sure WHAT you're working on, as the engine compartment on my 08 Edge looks TOTALLY different!!
