Man it took me 4 hours to find mine on my Autel evo pro 2. No one explained it has clearly as you did. Would have saved me a lot of time of I found your video sooner. thanks for helping us out here.

Thank you for explaining in 4 minutes what the FAA takes forever to explain. Reading an FAA document is like reading another language that you don't know.

Thanks for walking through how to locate the Remote ID on an Air2S. This is exactly what I needed.

Maybe the government's time would be better spent investigating why Boeing planes keep falling apart mid flight and why the Boeing whistleblower was just found dead but no this is how they choose to spend their time. Sure wish I was a billion dollar company so the government would stop caring about what I do.

Packed away my drone and will be up for sale. If I wanted to be a mainstream pilot I would have gone that route. Fun is Gone in this!

Great video. One thing to point out is how to check and verify RID is working properly with your drone and controller. On the screen touch "Takeoff permitted" in upper left corner. If RID is working you will see "Remote ID functionality normal." If not Huston we have a problem. Supposedly if RID not normal, you can't take off. I can't verify that since my Air2S has always worked with RID.

I just purchased a phantom 4 since my original one was stolen by someone my family unfortunately trusted and I received my temporary registration for my 107 . I will need to really study this a bit more to become legal as i am lost beyond words about it being new to the drone industry.

Something most people are missing too: Remote ID modules are only allowed for part 107 if the drone was built before September 2022. Any non DJI/Autel/parrot/etc. drone? Not legal according to the rules. It is now impossible for any non-dji FPV, cinelifter, fixed wing or other pilots, to fly 107 legally. (Unless their flying a really old drone)

Bro, I had like 3 or 4 questions about this on my test today. Not Super tricky but they def made it noticeable that they want you to be using it. I am glad you gave directions about the serial # of the RC. I had bought my kit used, and realized after much trouble shooting my RC was wrecked and had sand in it! So i replaced it. I needed the RC serial to reconnect it to the DJI, and un link it from my DJI ID. So…… yea. 😅

Police now:

Guys! Get ready! From today and so on we will use our resources to catch people having fun with their hobby! Make sure to fine them! Waste your time on them!!

But Sargent, what about actual crimes? Shouldn't I be looking for someone actually harming other?

You are fired.

I had the same issue registering my air2s. But I figured it out. With that DJI assistant. I had registered my mini 3 pro and that aircraft remote ID number is the serial number on the aircraft. So I did the same with Meijer2S and when I looked in my FAA drone zone pilot profile I noticed both drones had the same remote ID number. So then I knew there was a problem. I want to say I just googled it and it told me to go to drone zone and do the same steps you did get the DJI assistant and plug it in and retrieve the RID, then I was good to go.

Regulations explained: Corporations like Amazon told the government to clear the sky for their own commercial use. You're welcome. Next question.

Private Land Owner flying within the confines of their own property have rights not superseded by the FAA's rulings.
The FAA has no jurisdiction, right or authority to violate multiple constitutionally protected rights.
FAA without probable cause is violating the constitution.
4th Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizure
5th Amendment right against being forced to witness against himself.
6th Amendment right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you.

Easiest breakdown. If drone requires registration, it requires RID. If you register a drone that does not require registration, regardless of recreational or commercial, it requires RID. Anything else is exempted. Remote ID is directly tired to if drone is registered or not.
