How To Drone What is the FAA Remote ID Explained

Показать описание
Hey Drone Pilots - heard about this thing called Remote ID? Curious or confused? Don't worry, we were too. And this video is all about keeping it plain and simple for everyone to understand what Remote ID is, which models are compliant, and what you need to do to be ready.
According to the FAA’s website on the Remote Identification Program, quote. “Safety and security are top priorities for the FAA, and remote identification of drones is crucial to our integration efforts.”
Remote ID refers to the ability of a drone in flight, to provide identification, and location information, that can be received by people within signal range. Think of Remote ID as a unique electronic serial number system for drones, allowing authorities to identify who is flying them at any given time. A physical serial number wouldn’t be much use on a small airborne drone, so Remote ID sends information via radio signals to ground-based receivers.
The hope is that this new method of aerial accountability, will make the skies safer, improve public acceptance of drones, and open new possibilities for drone pilots to routinely fly in ways, that have until now, been restricted for safety and security.
Thanks for watching and if you enjoyed this episode, PLEASE give it a thumbs up! It really DOES help out our channel audience.

\\FAA DISCLAIMERS
Our UAV(s) are operated in accordance with the safety guidelines set forth by the FAA; in Class G airspace. We recognize and follow the safety guidelines set forth; including Advisories and Waivers when required.
During drone operation, the UAV(s) is within the visual line of sight from our operator(s), and a visual observer (spotter) in FPV flight/mode. We do not interfere and give way to all manned aircraft while operating below 400 feet. We do not hover directly over people, crowds, or fly in restricted or controlled airspace.
Each of our UAV(s) is registered with the FAA and operator(s) license is valid. We do not operate in dangerous manners and when flying below 10 feet, an observer verifies no obstacles are present directly within the flight path. Our operator(s) act in accordance with set laws governing flight and remind viewers that flying across “private property” is legal. We do not loiter directly above properties or track anyone in any manner.
All of us - including all operators we employ - respect the privacy of others and the environment we fly in.
