Good to see a review on these Amazon carbs
That carb looks like a show piece compared to stock one

I've bought 2 of these without problems.

There was one on a '69 Fairlane 302 I bought, JUNK!!!. It lost a vacuum plug that went through the engine(aluminum so apparently no harm). Rendered one side of carb inoperative.

I went through a friends stash and found a '69 2100 from a 351. Rebuilt that and it's been fine.

I'm trying to limp my international 304 until I get my new engine finished... Fingers crossed this cheapie works good enough. Just hit play on your video, hopefully it helps. The comments tell me it may! Thanks!

My amazon 2150 didn't come with that thick gasket. However was leaking a bit at the plastic spacer to carb. So I bought proper felpro gasket and it's that thicker (around 1/4" thick) style. Torqued carb to spec, no leak since.

How’s it held up? The throttle shaft word out in mine and it has under 500 miles can’t even get a idle now. Gonna use it for parts and fix my original I suppose

I need to know where all the vacuum lines go??? There are 5-8 lines front and rear??? Got my truck with no carb on it so I have no reference other than they are all laying there disconnected. 1978 ford f250 351 4 speed manual 2 barrel. Thanks

Nice! Fishing and trucks! And it's a f100! Subscribed. I figured I would try to rebuild the stock carb before I tried out one of these

I bought one of these Autolite/Motorcraft clones a couple months ago for my '57 Thunderbird. The modifications were minor since my car's a bare-bones 3-speed (no anti-stall dashpot, kickdown assembly, etc.). While the 12V spade on the automatic choke interfered with the air cleaner housing, my climate is warm enough that I just rotated it so the choke is always open. THE BAD NEWS: after about a hundred miles, the power valve diaphragm failed. It developed holes, so fuel kept draining into the intake manifold. Hard starts, terrible runability. I replaced the power valve with one from a rebuild kit but I'm still not getting the carb to run right. Having witnessed the power valve failure, I sldo checked the accelerator pump diaphragm; it looks fine. Bottom line for me: in theory I love this thing (who would've thought anyone would come up with an exact copy, especially one that allows part swapping from an original?), but now I don't feel I can trust it.

I would of never considered chinese junk....then I saw the new prices for carbs at napa and carquest!! $350+???? So, I bought a rebuild kit $70.00 and tried to get some carb cleaner...don't sell it any more, just spray on stuff???? So I'm already into the "nasty old cruddy carb rebuild" but can't get proper carb cleaner??? So...I'm researching these chine things. Glad to see your review, in Canada they're $124 canadian which is about $700 US, lol! I can find one for $99 Canadian on ebay but the wife has amazon prime and free shipping! LOL!! Great video, I thumbed it up!!

Thanks looking at this video i am glad i went the route of ordering a rebuild kit for 60 bucks instead of the 80 dollar carb.

Great video! Thank you! What did you use for the throttle linkage to the carburetor? My current linkage is just a rod with a hook at both ends. Those hooks go into holes and are held in place but the carburetor in this video has a small cylinder there and not a hole. Did you have to modify your current linkage?
