It really does just depend on what you consider cinema. There are definitely movies in the MCU that I wouldn't consider cinema and there are movies that I definitely would. An example of what I think of what MCU movies you could classify as cinema would be Infinity war and end game

The MCU is what made the cinema from 2016 to 2019. Those movies made cinema exciting. Lots of promotional material in between. People still remember watching Infinity Wars in the cinema. The irony is Martin Scorsese has moved to TV streaming films The Irishman is a Netflix quality TV film and Killers of Flower Moon is a TV film. Martin Scorsese's earlier work After Hours, Wolf of Wallstreet, King of Comedy still are cinematic experiences.

Honestly. They criticized marvel movies because of the majority of cgi that goes into it. You look at infinity war. All the actors worked less than a TV show and most had 10 minutes to 2 minutes of screentime. The cgi makes it less of how much acting they have to do. So old timers who act a stand alone movie where they have to fill up a 1hour to 2hour movie. They are insulted that a marvel movie where all of those actors made millions for less work they had to put into their movie. Award movies is an inner circle. Most people in marvel movies are not apart of that inner circle.
