For the people who are new or might not know your body gets used to having ketones existing in the system and starts utilizing them more which results in a lower number over time.

LOVE your videos. This is SO helpful. Hope you continue a "series" to show us what you are learning about ketones in general. Thank you.

I am currently using a breath device called Acetrack. Takes longer than my old KetoMojo device, but, doesn't need strips. It is more accurate also. It doesn't do glucose though.

I love my keto mojo device. I didn't even know CVS sold the lancets though. I always reorder from Keto Mojo. Good to know

Thank you. That was a very clear video about how to use the monitor.

Been keto for 4 years and I can't get my ketones over 0.6. I used to have higher numbers (3.0+) but in the last 18 months or so, I just can't get into deep ketosis even though I'm under 20 total carbs per day and I am OMAD. I used to run higher. I'm wondering if for some of us long-term keto eaters, the body doesn't make excess ketones anymore, it only makes what you need and that is why we don't get into deep ketosis anymore.

Great numbers! I’ve started measuring consistently…..I wasn’t seeing the results from carnivore. When I watch my numbers I’m way better than no more than 4 oz meat/meal and a LOT of fat. If I’m only doing one meal I may go up to 6 oz. Still figuring it out. At 70 I’m still hoping my knees keep improving so I can be back on the courts! 🎾😃

I set mine at 5 and can barely get a blood drop.

I got a free Keto Mojo in 2018. They changed the strips, so I just bought the new one. Very reasonable. $44.

The only thing I don't like about their test strips is how difficult it is to open them.

No problems with ketones the first four years of low carb but the last 1 /1/2 year I cannot get my ketones above .7 even on a 36 hour fast. Not fasting I barely can get to .4 and that's after eating 4oz. of butter.

I jig myself with the lancet without the pen.my skin on the finger side is too thick so I jab on top of my hand.gets the blood drop fairly consistently.sometimes I need to jab again.

I eat under 20 total carbs a day and can’t get my ketones more than 0.5. I have hyperinsulinemia so wonder if that makes it harder to get deeper ketosis. I’ve been doing clean therapeutic keto for a year and a half.

Always wipe the first drop of blood off fingertip to remove tissue fluid and clear second drop

FYI that poking the sides of fingers hurts less than poking the front of the tips

Dr Boz ratio, divide glucose by ketones, if under 100 you are good!

I’m so flustered. I eat less than 10g of incidental carbs/day. But my blood ketones remain only around 1.1. What makes them come up???? I have been eating keto for 3 months now

i’m doing lion, beef and salt only and some coffee have been for 2 months i was BBBE before that for a year and standard carnivore from 2016 keto before that. my ketones always read around 0.2. the only time i get anything around 2.0 is during a fast.. why could this be?
(btw, i am 100% regarding the food)
