Connecting and reaching out to people on LinkedIn can be quite difficult with a low response rate or success rate - and that's ok!

The goal is to build a network of people who care enough to help in a big OR small way; and maybe, you are able to help them, too!

Depends on your job. For example, I work in the financial services as a project manager and it's hard to create content on projects because it is frowned upon. Everything is highly regulated and I work with teams updating back-end systems so information on the projects are not the kind of thing a bank wants you advertising.

Thanks a lot for these tips, Markell. I love the templates you provided; they get to the point quickly without much of the "psychological hacks" everyone talks about.

Awesome advice. I am always wary of networking connections on LinkedIn etc because it always feels impersonal but this kind of helps make it personal and so you can stand out virtually before actually connecting over a phone or in person. Thank you!

Today is hard...
I usually tailor my messages (according to that person's activity and profiles on LinkedIn) when I want to network with the professionals and recruiters, but the chance I'm getting a reply is still 2 out of 10. I hope it will become better but it really discourages me and even makes me doubt myself... I feel nowadays you need to have a strong heart to build networks haha

Thank you for your video and advice, Markell! Even though I've been constantly disheartened, I think I will keep trying and use your tips this time lol. I wish you all the best!
