It can be easy to feel that no one really cares about us.

Asking for help is tough.

But no one was “self-made”, we all are part of each-other’s support systems. So how do you get comfortable asking?

In this actionable video, I will share a few simple rules of getting help from people, and make the process joyful for the one helping you out as well. We all, of course, grow when we #help others grow.

People will generally come running if you could tell them how, and if it helped you get there, do let me know in the comments section below.

Golden words at 6:20!
I realized this myself while mailing/ connecting with people for an internship. I kept writing generic emails about me and literally no one replied. But when I had put an effort on thinking "how can the other person benefit from my work", and when I wrote in a manner which shows that "I GENUINELY WANT TO CONNECT WITH YOU", replies came (positive and negative both).

"If you want to get someone's time then value their time" - This really hit me. Best advice ever. Thanks for the video.

Wow..This video has actually made me realize
1. The importance of having a good connect within you company and with your previous company's colleagues.
2 The importance of having good connect with your School/College Alumni, which actually made me active in those what's app group now.
3. The importance of Linkedin connections and being a little more active on it.
Thank you!!

Such a good and universal topic you touch on here Ankur - in 2014, after ISB when I had joined management consulting, the word "networking" was so abused that someone like me (introvert) had literally started hating it. But over the years I have realized that if you are genuine, and you connect with people on genuine topics, be real, let your work do the talking and believe in giving as much as you want in return in that relationship, networking all of a sudden becomes easy :)

For a long time, I have been hesitant to reach out to people I wanted to connect with. This video really boosts my confidence in doing so. I realise now that networking has a compounding effect and is more of a necessity than a choice.

Summarizing in 5 points:
1.Reach out
2.Ask
3.Value their time
4.Go through a shared connect i.e., references
5.Engage to/before you connect.
🙏🏻❤️💯

"If you want to get someone's time then value their time" - This line really hit me.

Creating content is a science but the way how you deliver content is an art.
Really MR.WARIKOO mastered that.

I watch a lot of content but I never commented. Today you have made me realize that if we watch something relevant or substantial why don't we share our opinions in the comment section, after all, there is nothing to lose but a lot to gain.
This is the beginning of my journey to connect with people whom I appreciate listening to.

Networking : " It is proven to work". It has worked beautifully for me. I have genuinely gained a lot from your shared work experiences and advices.
Because you have sincerely responded to all my queries personally, however small it is.. I have always got your point.
I'm so grateful for it.
There's actually no excuse to say "I can't connect" in today's world. You have a way and you have to work behind it.

I'm currently doing a lot research on a cold email just like you asked. Will definitely let you know if it successfully worked or not.

Thank you so much Mr Warikoo for sharing your valuable thoughts. I have always been the one struggling with networking, cause apparently I too had this " omg I am an introvert, how am I gonna do this" myth. but hey, thank you for bursting that myth. I hope I'll be able to imply your insights to build my network.
