Thanks for this! This came in handy years later. You'd think they'd made this one easier to see for the remaster.

Yeah, I was thinking like "Alright, one chest. I'll just run through the city and find it. Bloody hell, I didn't know they hide it liek this... God bless the uploader of the video :) :D

By lockpicking, like any other locked chest...but you can sometimes find keys spread throughout the game as lockpicking can be glitchy at times =)

You can always send your assassins in to clear the pack out a bit.

There's a chest in New York near Jamie Collie. It's too heavily guarded for me to get in.

People keep claiming this one is missing or you need to liberate XYZ to make it spawn and complaining it's not on the map...

All you need to do is play to Sequence 5 and go upstairs.
EDIT:Actually, it should be there right after 3 is finished. It holds everything Haytham collected earlier.

The maps are rather pointless when you can find almost everything just by wandering around.
