Same!! I recently painted my open concept room lighter and I hate it and I want to go dark but I’m not all the way on board with this pro. I have mostly all lighter furniture and I think the pop of dark with walls will look nice.

My chair is the couch color and my couch is a hair darker then that and I want actually about the same as the wall with the light couch. Good to know ty

When humans lived in caves the wall colours were dark and rich.

these colours are not made for western europe because in west europe is always dark outside and dark things doesnt match

i made the mistake of painting the walls to my room VERY dark blue. i absolutely hate it and it makes me feel depressed, if anybody has tips on what to put in it to make it feel brighter and happier please lmk

Thanks, I hate it. I like it with the white cabinet way better. Why are they talking like the contrast making the cabinet pop is a bad thing? If you had some big beautiful piece of art or something than sure let the cabinet match the wall. But even the knick-knacks are dark! It just looks blah!
