Fibular Fractures: Causes, Diagnosis, Treatment

I suspect that I have a fibula fracture but when I went to the doctor, they only xrayed the front of my ankle due to issues with the machine. I bought a stirrup-style brace, but I am not sure if this is the right way to go. I can walk on it with this brace, but not without it.

Amaizing, that old wome´s x-ray is exactly the same as mine. I got a fibular fracture by playing airsoft, when I slipped and all my weight fell on my twisted feet. Thanks for the video.

I have an upper fibula fracture.. near my knee .. upon going to the emergency room it was not put in a cast so i thought this is really weird, so I go to ANOTHER emergency room and they say the same thing .. never heard of a broken bone that didn't need a cast in my life .. until now ..

You should support your video with photos that make it more clear to understand the diagnosis and fracture types.

Just happened to me this past week, I was shocked I didn't need a cast either. Mine seems to be in the same spot as yours.

Hello Dr.Paul my husband got fracture in leg the x-ray shows that it is fibular fracture. Can you provide me reply so that i can discuss more detail on this....thanks
