Hey Everyone,

Today, I made some delicious roasted chestnuts. I have always wanted to try making this recipe and I am so glad that I finally got around to it.

Ingredients:
1 lb chestnuts
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cups water

Chinese chestnuts are the biggest. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a cooking method that enables the bitter fur to peel off these (unlike those depicted here) and you waste an awful lot of chestnut cutting it off.

You don't need to put sugar or butter on chestnuts! Portuguese here, we have been eating chestnuts for some 600 years or more.
