i think the boxer knows more about fighting than the tkd guy. the boxer knows psycho war is winning 50% of the battle. He is intimidating the tkd guy to the point that he's afraid to fight anymore. Miyamoto Musashi does this all the time.

I think if you hybridized tkd and boxing into a complete striking art, it wouldn't necessarily look anything like muay thai. TKD is "boxing with the legs" according to kwonkicker, so as the respective half's of the body have been prioritized as solo weapons, their development would have been distinct from full body styles. Kind of distilled, so to speak.
