Locke's going to college which can only mean one thing: roadtrip! This week, Rhett details his multi-state trip starting in Maine and ending in Florida, touring colleges, eating delicious food, and drinking tons of lattes. Rhett talks about how women from Maine took a liking to Locke, he solves the decades-long Philly cheesesteak battle between institutions Pat's and Gino's, and surprised his family with a cruise around the Florida everglades in a fan boat. Most importantly, Rhett meets a bunch of Mythical Beasts along the way!

I’m so shocked everytime I see either Rhett or Links children. It’s crazy how some of us have followed Rhett and Link for so long, that we’ve seen their children get older and older.

First, yes we are still listening to Ear Biscuits, Rhett. Please don’t ever stop this because it’s my favorite part of Mythical. Second, I feel like every time I hear about a vacation of yours that you’re speaking my language. I often worry that I’m not getting the best experience or am I seeing the best thing to see. I try to pick out moments where if this is the best thing that happens on this vacation then it’s totally worth it.

I’m starting my PhD at Yale this fall, and I’ve been listening to Ear Biscuits and watching GMM for years now!

im glad that even after all their success a 4 inch lobster roll for $21 still suprises them. Other youtubers will spend $40 on a bottle of water, they dont understand the value of money.

I was caught so off guard by the talking starting the same time as the intro.

There's nothing better than hearing Link imitate his dad. 😅

I did my PhD in physics at Yale. I can honestly say that watching GMM every day at the crack of dawn before I started working was what kept me sane for 4yrs.

The success of Rhetts entire trip is contingent on how good the food is and how many beasts recognize him.

Links intermittent joke delivery hit so well this episode.

Around 46:52 when Rhett talks about the travel centres we have in the Northeast, i was baffled to learn that that’s not a thing everywhere. You mean you DON’T have these big squat brick buildings with parking lots along certain stops on the highway that a) tell you about the area you stopped in, b) offer tours & other travel info, c) have multiple nice restrooms, d) have an overpriced convenience store, AND e) have at least 3 fast food/drink places inside??? Wild. (Please read tone as teasing/light hearted! 🤖)

I think it’s funny that people are shocked that people who do serious jobs or study “top tier” disciplines actually enjoy “low brow” entertainment. I think it’s considered like a brain break. When I want to be entertained, I don’t always want to have to think. I have watched GMM and listened to ear biscuits for years because it’s light hearted and easy to take in without work.

Not sure if this has been said before, but I would love to watch Rhett and Link eat the best or well known foods across the US 🤷🏻‍♀️🥰

Barbara was so calm with Link. Maybe it’s just Links energy that makes dogs like Jade

I gotta say- as a native Philadelphian- the best cheesesteaks are typically from either Jim’s on South St or from Delassandros- also if you want a better sandwich go to Dinick’s and get the roast pork

So glad to hear the Maine compliments :) I have lived here my whole life, and it is true, you never get used to that chill in the air. Lucky that a Maine beast got to meet you! Rare for sure!

Rhett interacting with Barbara is always good content. Loved this podcast, boys! Rhett's trips are some of the best stories for me because I feel a lot of what he feels when doing anything 🙃🙃
