Learning to be like water is very difficult especially for people who don't like change. But once you learn you find an unexplainable inner peace. I'm glad Rhett touched on that subject!

Wow, Rhett. That last 3rd really hit home for me. As someone who was on the debate team, I ended up believing that you always needed to be right. It's a big part of my personality as well. I've even had friends say that I try to be right too much. I completely agree that it's about ego, and I have an extremely difficult time handling it. I hate it when my pride get's bruised, because I consider that a failure for myself. If I can't defend my point completely, I'm hard on myself and research it until I find where I went wrong. It's why I'm always learning. Even though I do study more and more, it has only cemented my beliefs thus making my ego even bigger which has harmed several of my friendships. You've certainly given me a lot to think about and a great direction to do so. Thanks!

I listened on Monday and just wanted to comment that I always thought I didn't have much in common with Rhett, but episodes like this have been more and more readily proving me wrong.
