I ran track back in my day and we didn't act anything like this. That's called a sore winner. The guy came in second won in sportsmanship!!💯

Man I hope everyone recovered from their injuries. I'm not sure if anyone can live thru that kind of violence.

Too physical. Maybe equip the runners with helmets and shoulder pads?

If that is physical I've done worse at Walmart in the produce department.

I'd give anything to know what the older gentleman said to the LSU runner. He sobered up VERY quickly and walked away.

LSU was getting more physical with himself the way he was hitting on his chest. 😁

A lot of people in the comment section think that the guy from LSU was in the wrong. And I am inclined to agree. But in his defense… we don’t actually know how much back & forth may of been happening at the start of the race. For all we know, maybe it was Houston that actually instigated this whole scenario. But clearly this doesn’t fully excuse his behavior and LSU needs to work on better controlling himself and the way he reacts to these situations. Winning the race is the most important thing and you shouldn’t be petty when you’ve beaten your opponent. It’s bad sportsmanship, obviously. People like him just need to rest easy knowing that they beat their opponent on the scoreboard. That should be enough…
