EVEREST 2024: Others Climbers Found Dead After Going Missing.

The Kenyan mountaineer who went missing near the summit of Mount Everest has been found.Forty-year-old Joshua Kirui and his Nepali guide Nawang Sherpa, 44, disappeared on Wednesday while attempting to summit Everest without supplementary oxygen. The guide is yet to be found by the search team that had been deployed to locate the pair.

Honestly, what is the point? To say you have done what thousands of others have already done is one thing, but waiting in line to do it is another considering the risk involved.

I just hate waiting in lines. I would never pay to go stand in a line hundreds of people long, in the biting cold, for hours! Plus the death toll that mountain has had in the many years crazy people have been climbing it is enough to tell me DON'T DO IT!

Don't understand why so many people are on the mountain at one time. Surely there must be a better way?

It must have been like going to another planet when the first climbers in the early days reached the summit of Everest.
Doing it now, especially without oxygen, is an accident or death waiting to happen. They may as well build an elevator at this point.

Insane. Even if you wanted to climb the mountain now, it seems foolish with those crowds, they have to do something about it.
Even if I wanted to go climate, those numbers I just wouldn't.
Some people also would be smart to understand that getting to the top, the summit, isn't always the goal, sometimes your summit isn't the top ...it's the experience itself.
