Many you have asked why we got rid of our Polaris side by side and switched over to Honda. In this video, I detail the issues we had and why we made the decision to switch to Honda. I am not sponsored by either but I thought it would be helpful to share my experience.

What a level headed, easy going, family man. He is articulate, didn't go into a profanity laced tirade, but just shared his experience in a truthful and thoughtful manner. That's my take on this clip, I'm impressed.

I have learned (the hard way) over the years and now I stick with two main brands when it comes to outdoors equipment: Honda and Stihl. Rarely do I have equipment issues beyond routine maintenance.

I’m 15 and I have a 2001 Honda I go mudding all the time and beat the you know what out of it. But it has never left me out on the trails and it has always started. That’s 18 years of no issues it’s absolutely brilliant.

You hit a homerun on this review. Real geared transmission. Real front and rear lockable differentials.

My starter went about 2 months ago on my Honda four-trax and it has been sunk fully under water in a river and I am still riding it. I want a sxs but I don’t really need one because I have such a reliable quad.

I have owned several Polaris rangers and have had minor issues.Along with many of my friends owning them. I just purchased a 2019 camo ranger totally outfitted and it is a beast. My friend has a honda side by side and he loves his machine. I think they are both awesome machines. As everyone knows there always seems to be a machine in every group that is a pain in the rear. I am lucky i have an awesome dealer in our area. I hope your honda does great.

You just helped with my decision between Polaris and Honda, I wanted 500cc so you helped. I also had a foreman for 13 years. Thanks for your honesty. Yes Honda is more but don’t want poor quality

Been using my 900 Ranger weekly for 2 years hauling firewood, plowing snow 3/4 mile gravel road absolutely no issues . Starts at -10 degrees, very dependable.

I was very happy when I got rid of my Polaris and went to a Honda 3 years and 1700 miles without an issue.
Biggest complaints about the Polaris was how poorly it was built and the complete lack of support from the factory about common known issues. These are also my biggest thumbs up to Honda. The Honda is well built and the factory is very proactive in addressing every possible issue.

Put 1300 miles on my new 17 last year and was trouble free. Change the oil and go. This is my 3rd pioneer and I absolutely love them. Came from two 500s and upgraded to a 1000 last year. I have that exact same machine. Love it.

I had a brand new polaris 800 ranger that melted a hole through the seat, ECM problems, couldn't keep wheel bearings on it, and the list goes on. I've had no issues with the Honda. Great video, thank you
