Ripcord: Time To Uninstall The Official Discord Client

I've been trying out a lot of these 3rd party discord clients lately like 6cord and Gtkcord and they're all missing something fundamental, but finally I've discord Ripcord which is an almost perfect client, basically the only thing that it's missing is video calls but I can always use the web client for that anyway.

Really wish this client was actively being worked on, it could use some polishing and support for newer discord features.

ripcord may be proprietary, but its still a million times better than the electron garbage we currently have
sadly discord isnt like IRC and matrix where making a new client with good features isnt as easy as drinking water, im thinking of just bridging discord (im only on 3 servers, two already have it, and the other is with close friends) and matrix and using mirage as a sort of pseudo discord client.

Thank you so so SO much for explaining how to leave a voice channel. I was stuck in a channel of my own server today for roughly 3 minutes, trying everything from looking through all the settings, to logging into discord with my browser and trying to disconnect myself.

ripcord is a good modclient as I saw in the video pity it's not my style and since in theory it's not an injector there are delays with discord updates risking becoming obsolete.
but why didn't you ever talk about betterdiscord? (sorry I'm new) and the ufficial clientmod is?

Ripcord is pretty much done by the time of this comment. Half the features shown in this video no longer work. The project is abandoned.

when i use voice chat it just gets stuck at routing

Checking on it now and i must say that discord is better by far right now. It just eats to much performance. thats the only thing i can complain about
