(Though it is unknown what the saber looked like, I could speculate this was before the written comic where vader bled his crystal himself.) he ignites its crimson blade, examining it, and slashes palpatine.. killing him. As the guards take aim, he declares…

Ain’t no way ROTS ani beats Palps. Not even considering his struggle between light/dark, and the fact that killing Obi wouldn’t have saved Padme, Palps was far stronger than Ani at that time. Ani with more training and at his full potential? Sure, but directly after mustafar? Not a chance
