one thing i hate about this game is it encourages you to explore but if u explore too much u may destroy a quest and its rewards unknowingly

Anyone having same problem I did with no give Serpent Amnion option, just go do the Rileigh contract after u kill him go back and talk to boss lady. after exhausting her dialogue go to Rya, tell her the dark secrets and THEN it will give option to give Amnion. Hope this helps

A note for the end of the quest: you don't have to refuse to give Rya the potion, then go kill Tanith, and then go back to Rya again to get her item and letter. You can just refuse to give her the potion, see the dialogue where she says you're kind, quit the game and reload; she will be gone and her items will be on the ground, and then you can kill Tanith afterwards.

Man, the Rykard fight just straight up made me feel like a total badass with a lance of pure wind and destructive air, it was like I was playing God of War all of a sudden, made me laugh. Definitely one of the best encounters so far just for the sheer level of awesomeness it induces. Too bad the spear returns to being a hunk of metal after, but oh well it was fun while it lasted.

I found that using the dragon claw shield makes Juno incredibly easy. You take no damage when charging with it, and then you stun him if you hit him with it, allowing for a barrage of fast attacks to be used. It is very easy this way.

Just because I don't see anyone using it: bloodhound step is a lifesaver in lava and rot. I just equip it on the lightest dagger to have it always available if needed.

The game royally screwed me! Lol I went to talk to her after following all these steps and letting her live. That machine guy with the spinning blades followed me all the way there without my knowledge and while I was talking to her a blade came through the doorway and killed her. So that’s fun. Anyone reading this KILL THE MACHINE ON WHEELS before getting her dialogue.

Note that if you go back to Bernall after speaking to him twice and killing the last NPC he will also give you a letter to hunt down another two NPC.

Note, after you do all of this, if you go back to the manor, you can examine Bernahl's sword and buy all of the ashes of war if you didn't buy them when he was still there.

Just seen this walkthrough. Very well made and very helpful. But I would like to note after doing this I didn’t look for Zorayas until I killed all the “contracts” and the end boss. I met her in the room with candles then went back to the grace “temple of Eiglay”. Met her again and she talked about “not killing her” and did it one more time and got the letter and mask! Hope this helps!

I get why killing rykard ends the quest but goddamm, locking so much cool stuff behind a boss fight some might stumble upon is kind of crazy

6:11 you don´t have to walk the lava btw, the elevator in that area (short cut to the grace) has another exit in the middle (if I remember correctly)

with the new update, patches will now be in a bridge outside boss room in shaded castle, he will give you the item for Tanith, but it has no use for now, so you may want to leave her alive for later

For all those who moved to fast in volcano manor or trying to get Barnahl’s legendary weapon… rest assured I got you. When your at the dragon temple near end game your going to come to the great bridge(“beside great bridge” is the name of the grace) rather than go up the bridge head down… eventually you’ll be invaded before a chest.. be careful cause if you go into that room with the chest there’s three Lycans to ambush as well so fight him close to the ladder you came down on.

Souls games quests are always so complicated. You make one wrong mistake it messes up the entire questline. Always be super careful when doing quests.
