Well done! We paid off our debt several years ago. I was surprised that we didn’t feel “rich” 😂 after, but we were playing catch up with everything we’d put on hold during our years of paying it off. It’s been life changing!

Just started documenting our debt free journey 🎉! We’ve got a ways to go but documenting it definitely helps to stay accountable to it 😀. Congratulations 🍾 on two years!

Amy, you’re doing so good with the basement remodel. Of course it seems easy to get back into debt, I try to remind myself ”if it’s worth having it’s worth waiting for”. We’re going to do a no spend (with exception of our skiing trip in march) january-april or may to boost our savings.

We have paid off two vehicles in 2023 plus some small medical debts, in January we’re doing a no-spend and focusing on the next debt in our snowball. I will be so happy if we can pay off three credit cards in 2024 but I’m certain we can get at least two down. Thank you for keeping me motivated!

Hey friend. Good job on being and staying debt free for 3 years. I’m working on my debt slowly. A few of my debts will be paid off by April of next years and I’m so proud of myself. Keep up the good work.

Great video. Your journey is very inspiring. I have 6 figures in student loans and I’m working my way on paying them off.

I'm debt free since Dec 2023. Mortgage and Car, everything paid off... Of course 3 months later I need a new furnace so the money Ive accumulated are going to need to go to that soon. I dont really feel free. Expenses will always come no matter what. I guess it's better to deal with expenses without incurring debt again, though!!

What a nice video! This is so motivational for people who are in the debt payoff periode so they can see what there is on the other side of that tunnel!
I don't know if i missed it in your video, but you also bought a car with cash after being a single car family for some time, I thought that was such a badass move 🙂
We are currently refilling our emergency fund, and I as well was wondering if I should increase the ammount in the EF, cashflowing medical costs for a baby and preparing for a low income year cause i'm taking extended (non paid) maternity leave.

You are so awesome! So do you have any of your debt trackers framed and hanging anywhere?

Hi very motivational video. I’ve been on the debt free journey for years now. I’m single so not having two incomes makes it a little harder anyway. In July of this year I will pay off my last two debt payments. That is the car and the mortgage. Funny how that worked out. I have only managed to put 2500 away for emergency. However after July I’ll really be able to get that fund in better shape. My question to you is you have 20, 000 in emergency fund. Where do you park that much money ? Regular savings ? Trying to figure out what to do with my fund so it’s easy to get to but also earns some interest. Thanks 😊
